great post to read This year my in-laws and I did not have a conventional Thanksgiving celebration. Instead of the usual turkey, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, string beans, stuffing and pumpkin pie, we enjoyed a traditional nine course Chinese banquet on a Saturday evening.   It was a feast indeed!  We dined on roasted pig, deep fried pork chops slathered in XO sauce, deep fried spicy shrimp, melon soup, roasted chicken, stir fried baby bok choy with abalone in oyster sauce, steamed fish in soy sauce, stir fried lobster, and last but not least, scallop and egg fried rice with chopped asparagus.
