giovanni romano trader This week officially marks the start of fall (yippee!), and that means it’s fall wedding season! I love weddings, but I especially love weddings that are full of seasonal elements. Fall is the season for all things colorful and tasty, making it the perfect time of year for a wedding full of things that ignite your senses. Every time fall comes around, I go a little crazy trying anything and everything that is pumpkin flavored. I mean, how can you think of fall and not think of pumpkins?

The great thing about pumpkins being part of a wedding is that you can decorate them in ways that are more elegant, instead of traditional orange pumpkins we generally think of.

A little paint, glitter or fabric can make a big difference in the way a pumpkin looks. In fact, I came across this adorable idea from Stacey Lynn Designs, where a ring bearer pillow was made from a pumpkin and wrapped in extra bridesmaid dress fabric. Talk about brilliant! And it looks amazing. Do you like it?
